CHAPTER 10: Group Leadership

  Hello my name is Nicholas Enrique Perez and my paper will be on information, notes, and skills I learned from the following presentations given by my peers. Everyone was very presentable and each individual gave great insight to their portion of the chapters. You don't find people usually working together this nicely. The first group had Culture & Communication, the second group had Communicating in Groups, whilst the third group had Group Leadership & Problem Solving. With each chapter, every group member was given a section and had three slides the summarize and present what the section spoke about. Unlike any other project I have ever done, each member presented their part instead of assigning a speaker. Although everyone was nervous, what mattered most is that we all conquered our fears and set them aside in order to properly communicate with one another about important topics in the real world such as gender inequality, health groups such as Red Cross, and other topics.                 The group presentations that we made for this assignment was based on different chapters of the Speech Communications textbook. Each group created a powerpoint to summarize and explain what each chapter was teaching. To help the class engage, most groups included videos and pictures to better exemplify the points that were being made. The groups spoke more from what they learned rather than reading off the slides and all presented very well.                 Firstly, the group that started it all off was group one.
