Good morning, without a doubt this recent assignment that our teacher assigns us extremely interesting and instructive since three important topics were touched and discussed. The themes were climate change, gender inequality and last but not least infrastructure. These topics were divided into three teams which were able to look for information in order to expose and let us take the idea of their topics. Below I will summarize what each team will present and explain in detail each of the most interesting topics and the ones that amazed me the most about each of these three teams.

We will start with the first group that presented, which was group 3 also I am part of it. In this we talk about an important topic which is climate change, my teammates began by describing what exactly climate change is which informed us that is the long-term alteration of temperature and typical weather patterns in a place which is largely caused by human activity also we inform the class that the climate change has been around for centuries and us humans have been affecting nature surrounding us for a long time as well. We proceed with more useful information which were the main causes of climate change, which my team showed were for example the fault of the deforestation burning of fossil fuels, greenhouse gases, global warming, fertilizers, etc. in addition to shown videos that showed us graphically the consequences of these and  in addition to everything we had the opportunity to do an interview with an important person who works in companies about the care of climate change and we were able to ask questions and get those answers that most of the time we always have and this helped the classmates to understand various things about climate change. And finally, we touched on two very important issues which were the effects and climate change for example some factors that they notice Is that hurricanes are becoming stronger with higher wind speeds and for storms to intensify at a quicker pace and the technology used for climate change which we were clear that the technological advances against climate change are mainly focused on trapping greenhouse gases and reducing warming. I think that my team did an excellent job of promoting information on that topic of great importance and I think that we improved a lot when it came to exposing our information to the class and made us join once again to work as a team.

We continued with the second group that I present which was group 2, this group had to present an extremely exciting topic as well as climate change since it was about gender inequality, which is a problem that occurs daily, and we have to know how to stop it. This group began by showing us graphically the numbers of suicide bombings that occurred last year due to gender discrimination and how they continue to happen if actions are not taken in time, then they proceeded to teach us the history of the LGBTQ and massive shootings that have occurred for cases of homophobia which happened in the year 2016 in a gay club which left 49 dead and 50 injured without a doubt was a terrible event but lets us know to what extent homophobia and hatred can stop and that is why it is good to eradicate it as soon as possible. And finally, they mentioned an issue of great importance which was how we can prevent gender discrimination which without a doubt must create more strict laws that protect homosexual people and make them feel calmer when it comes to going out to the streets. And finally, the issue that this team exposed which I found fascinating to explain it was the sexual harassment since they explained that sexual harassment is a type of harassment involving the use of explicit or implicit sexual overtones, including the unwelcome and inappropriate promise of rewards in exchange for sexual favors. Sexual harassment includes a range of actions from verbal transgressions to sexual abuse or assault. Harassment can occur in many different social settings such as the workplace, the home, school, churches, etc. Harassers or victims may be of any sex or gender and also how we can prevent it. I think that this team did a great job of looking for the information and exposing it also since they taught us many things as well as ways to prevent them.

And last but not least was the vital presentation of group 1, this team had a very interesting topic which was about infrastructure. To begin with, they explained about the technology department explaining that they would include the technologies bill such as it will improve, and it will expand the nations broadband services. Another aspect that I found extremely important was in the construction, in this topic they mentioned about the new constructions in Miami as well as promoted examples of this same. And the last topic they talked about was about transportation, for this topic they let us know what it meant as well as giving us multiple examples to leave us with a clear knowledge of the subject.

 To conclude my essay, I have to let it be known that this assignment fascinates me since I learned new things and fill my mind with wisdom with topics that are very important and that are talked about all the time. Another reason why I really liked this project was because of the communication and the work we had as a team since in an organized way we could divide the information and we agreed on the assigned parts as I think that all the groups did an impeccable job when it comes to carrying out their projects as well as presenting them to the class that they did it in an informative and easy to understand way, so I can say that this class is undoubtedly helping us to develop when speaking in public.
